ÒAll You Need to Know About VideobloggingÓ

 

Enter the ÒvlogosphereÓ at the Midpeninsula Community Media Center, April 18 at 7:30 PM and pioneer videobloggers, Michael Verdi and Ryanne Hodson will take you on a magical tour of the new genre. Ryanne is the Co-Author of Secrets of Videoblogging; Both are the Co-Founders of NODE101 an open source collaborative effort to teach videoblogging around the world and co-authors of ÒThe Secrets of Videoblogging.Ó TheyÕll show a number of different styles of videoblogs from the thousands that are popping up on the internet. Videoblogs are short-format videos that are often first-person narratives and serials.  TheyÕll share tips on production, equipment, web publishing, and promotion.  The cost is $8 and students get in for free.

 

The Media Center is at 900 San Antonio Rd. in Palo Alto. This event, co-sponsored with Ourmedia, a forerunner of YouTube, is part of a series of public conversations and workshops presented by the Media Center about new trends in media and communications technology.
